BEER TO THE FACE!

Beer Review… St. Bernardus Abbey Ale.
Belgium. 10.50%
Brewed and Bottled by Brouwerij St. Bernard NV
“The absolute top quality in the hierarchy of the St. Bernardus beers. It is also the beer with the highest alcohol content (10.50 %). A dark ivory coloured beer with a high fermentation. The show piece of the brewery. Thanks to its soft and unconditionally genuine aroma, the beer can be smoothly tasted. The Abt has a very fruity flavour.” –http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/st-bernardus-abt-12/2530/

The Kansas Cities
May 8, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Well folks, this weekend I spent in the kansas cities… yes cities.

I was in both Kansas and Missouri! I had such a great time… and by great I mean it totally rocked! BONUS: They have an Apple Store.
I arrived Saturday night where I threw my crap in the hotel and high tailed it to some local bars. Saturday was kinda of “i’ve been traveling and kinda tired” night.
Sunday rocked! Got lunch at some place in the hotel and headed to the apple store, or as I like to say, the toy store. After the toy store we went bowling, yes, bowling. Why not? Actually, now that I have thought about it, every place, besides alaska, I went bowling. Every place that I have been vacation wise that is. I am not very good at it… but seriously love it.
After the bowling adventure, we headed back to the downtown area. Dinner was at this awesome restaurant called Brio. We sat on the upstairs deck and listen to really good live music. I got about 8 lbs of mash potatoes… literally. It was a HUGE plate of ‘taters. After trying to make a dent in large portion of mashed goodness we hit the town, once again, but this time cameras were in hand. I enjoyed randomly taking pictures of the, well, random things.

Monday I packed my things and headed back to Scranton, PA. I had a lengthy lay over in Detroit but I didn’t mind. That airport kicks ass!!

All and all, I love Kansas City and I knocked off 4 more states making it 22 down 28 to go!
