Rockin’ in the Free World…

August 4th: Left Scranton, PA

August 8th: Arrived in California

HERE ARE MY STORES.

I am now living in California. YUP. I am a California Girl.

I thought it seemed only right to travel from the actually EAST coast to the WEST coast on my road trip out to my new home. So I head from SCRANTON to OCEAN CITY, MD with my road tripping partner Michael. (He agreed to go and then fly back home to Scranton.)

I love Ocean City and usually go every year with my dad’s side of the family for my grandmother’s birthday.

I have my favorite little places in town like Secrets, The Bayside Skillet, and Pollock Jonnies.

So Michael, Apollo, and Myself arrived around 5pm, check into the hotel… Apollo stayed in and watched TV while we went to Secrets.

Secrets is hard to describe but a lot of fun. It is an outside bar about a block long on the bay. It makes you feel like you in Jamaica and even have chickens running around.

In the morning we had breakfast at the Bayside Skillet, where they have the best crepes!

We left after breakfast on our way to WEST… No clue on exsactly where we were headed other than CALIFORNIA.

We ending up in VIRGINA at the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE which is where they filmed parts of TRANSFORMERS 2 !!!  We got out of the car and walked around just for a little, the doggie was in the car so we didn’t have much time but it was fun and there was a transformers exhibit.

ONWARD to NASHVILLE!!!

THEN ARKANSAS, OKLAHOMA, TEXAS…

they all looked like this.

Then there was NEW MEXICO.

It was the worst to drive though, pretty, but the same over and over, and long.

However ROUTE 66 had some nice things.

Like a Post Office and a German Shepard.

Then ARIZONA!

I had hope to see the GRAND CANYON and we were right there! Literally!  At the rode around the canyon.  It was 1 am and we could not find a hotel.  The town of Williams had no vacancy, or flagstaff, or the town 92 miles down the rode.  We attempted to sleep in the car but there was a weird trucker starring us down and it was FREEZING!

We decided to keep driving.

Along the roads there were Dinosaurs and Truck Stops… FUN TIMES!!

We arrived to CALIFORNIA in the morning… went to my house where I will be living for a little, met up with my boyfriend Brock (fellow YouTuber http://www.youtube.com/user/McGoiter and in fact that is how we met) and my roommate Jeff …then we went Bowling that night!!!

Where I was shocked about the recent news on the lanes!!!

Bowling is different out WEST… the balls have facial hair.

However, my bowling ball decided he needed a shave.

The next morning we decided to drive to VEGAS!

It is not that far and there was a Star Trek convention going on…

PLUS!  Pizza Hut!

I manage to find a ZOLTAR Machine and wished I was BIG but it didn’t work.

…the day after that we went to DISNEYLAND!!

Since I am currently un-employed I am going to apply for a job there.  It is only 20 mins away from where I am living!

DISNEY was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!

I met up with some GENs and Miss Becky Aktrez Young herself.

Michael decided he wanted to run around by himself… He was able to go on rides with out waiting and he had fun!  Brock and I did our thing which was a lot of fun too!

It’s a small world after all!!

Indiana Jones was my favorite!!

Pirate of the Caribbean was Awesome too!

I mean the park was so much fun but there is so much we didn’t do!  It is HUGE! ( insert that what she said comment HERE )

HAHAHA!
